Marriage Discussion Event

How can we disagree with one another, without being disagreeable?
The Coordinating Team of the Presbytery of Lake Huron, in conjunction with the Memorial Presbyterian Church of Midland are working to model how we can talk about sensitive issues which sometimes divide us.
We contacted Brian Ellison, Executive Director of the Covenant Network and Paul Detterman, the Executive Director of Presbyterians for Renewal and they have agreed to join us and led the discussions.
Brian and Paul have made a number of presentations to various groups and presbyteries on the issues around the marriage amendment. They do not agree on the subject and plan to model how it is we can disagree without being disagreeable. We have heard many good comments about the presentations they have made.
