Communications Planning For Churches

Want to know how to effectively start and maintain an effective communications plan for your church? Sue Washburn offers great advice on how to get started and detailed instructions on how to form a communications plan for your church.

Sue Washburn is a seminary student and member of Redstone Presbytery in Pennsylvania.  She has extensive media experience including radio production and freelance writing.  In addition to being a seminary student she is also a mother and has her own writing service to newspapers, magazines and non-profit organizations.  I had the pleasure of meeting her at the Presbyterian Communicators Network conference last month when she led a class on Church Communication Planning.  She had advice on how to set up a communications plan and how to determine who your audience really is and how they communicate.
