Speak on Issues of Gender Inequality
On Saturday October 9, 2010 the Rev. Augustin Mikendi and International Peacemaker invited by the Presbytery of Lake Huron will be at the First Presbyterian Church of Saginaw Michigan, 121 S. Harrison Avenue (Park in Lot off of Webster Street and enter Webster Street Door.) The Rev. Mikendi will be speaking on gender inequality and its impact on peace and justice in the Kasai region of the Congo. We have invited persons through the Presbytery email system, and our own church email system. In addition we invite members of local women’s groups to attend. The program will begin at 10:00 am in the Westminster Fellowship Hall and conclude with a light lunch at noon.
There will be a light lunch provided after the Rev. Mikendi’s presentation. If you plan on attending please Email or call Marianne at 989-793-9890. We need a good count for lunch.
