Big Tent 2011
More than 1700 Presbyterians came to the Big Tent this summer in Indianapolis June 30-July 2 at the brand new J.W. Marriott in downtown. Nearly 30 people from Lake Huron Presbytery attended the event inlcuding clergy, elders, presbytery and church staff as well as youth.
The nine national conferences all meeting under one roof were:
- Clergywomen’s Leadership Institute/Young Women’s Leadership Development
- Evangelism and Church Growth Conference
- Healthy Ministry Conference
- National Elders Conference
- National Multicultural Church Conference
- Peacemaking Conference
- Presbyterian Communicators Network National Conference
- Racial Ethnic and Immigrants Convocation
- World Mission Matters
Youth and children were also an intregal part of the event. Toddlers to young adults were well represented. Youth and young adults attended the Pathways conference.
